Alyssa Baker is a Licensed Graduate Social Worker under professional supervision working toward licensure as a LICSW. She received her master’s degree in social work from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Alyssa believes in establishing a therapeutic relationship built on trust, warmth, support, safety, and empowerment. Alyssa uses cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, mindfulness, and strengths-based approaches to encourage and enhance a client’s motivation and self-efficacy in the therapeutic process. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults integrating relaxation, mindfulness, and play techniques.
Alyssa is originally from northern Minnesota. She enjoys spending her free time with her partner and two young children exploring nature in a variety of ways: running, mountain biking, hiking, camping, and boating.
